Ireland 's World War 1 Survivors 1914-1918

Ireland's WW1 Veterans

The time has come to remember in a very public manner Ireland's World War 1 survivors. It is estimated 150,00 served from the Island of Ireland. At least 40,000 were casualties which is likely to mean there are approx 110,000 men and women who survived World War 1.

World War 1 veterans had survived the living conditions and horrors of world war 1. For whatever reason they served, they all made an individual contribution that is well-worth remembering.

Ireland's World War 1 Veterans should be remembered, recognised and acknowledged in a very public manner and in a public place open to all.
Your support for a permanent memorial similar to the Hauntings Soldier Sculpture would be appreciated.

It is hoped from 2020 onwards to have a specific website for relatives and friends of those who served in World War 1 making the information about those who served availale to all.
